BUY n SELL is a peer-to-peer marketplace that connects buyers and sellers. As such, return policies are determined by individual sellers, and BUY n SELL does not directly handle returns or refunds.

Each seller on our platform is responsible for setting and communicating their own return policy. Before making a purchase:

- Ask the seller questions about returns before purchasing
- Save all communications with the seller
3. Standard Marketplace Practice

4. When You Can Request a Return

- Document Everything: Take photos of the item and keep all correspondence
- Attempt Resolution: Work with the seller to reach a fair solution
- Contact Support: If unable to resolve directly, contact our support team with all relevant documentation
6. Dispute Resolution
If a dispute arises between buyer and seller regarding returns:
- BUY n SELL may mediate but is not responsible for enforcing returns
- Evidence such as photos and messages will be reviewed
- Decisions will be made based on our Community Guidelines and Terms of Service
- We reserve the right to suspend or ban users who engage in fraudulent behavior
7. Items That Cannot Be Returned
The following items typically cannot be returned:
- Personalized or custom-made items
- Perishable goods
- Digital downloads or services already rendered
- Items sold "as-is" or "for parts" with clear disclosure
- Items damaged by the buyer after receipt
8. Refund Processing
Since BUY n SELL facilitates connections but does not process payments:
- Refunds are handled directly between buyer and seller
- BUY n SELL is not responsible for processing or guaranteeing refunds
- We recommend using secure payment methods that offer buyer protection
9. Buyer Protection Tips
To protect yourself when making a purchase:
- Meet in public, well-lit locations for in-person exchanges
- Inspect items thoroughly before completing payment
- Use secure payment methods
- Check seller ratings and reviews
- Trust your instincts – if something seems wrong, walk away
- Never send payment before seeing the item
10. Seller Responsibilities
Sellers are expected to:
- Accurately describe items including any defects or issues
- Clearly state their return policy in the listing (if applicable)
- Respond promptly to buyer concerns
- Act in good faith to resolve disputes
- Honor any return policy they've explicitly stated in their listing
11. Reporting Fraud
If you believe you've been a victim of fraud or scam:
- Report the user immediately through our platform
- Provide all evidence including messages and photos
- Contact local law enforcement if necessary
- We will investigate and take appropriate action including account suspension or ban
